Autumn Frost Hosta
2019 Proven Winners National Hosta of the Year™
'Autumn Frost' is a showier version of its parent plant, 2010's Hosta of the Year, 'First Frost'. This variety forms a very nice, medium sized mound of ornamental frosty-blue leaves that have wonderfully contrasting yellow-gold margins that eventually fade to creamy white later in the season. Its rare color combination really makes it a stand out in the shady border or woodland garden! Midsummer sees dainty spikes of tubular lavender flowers and entices hummingbirds to visit.
