Dr. Ruppel Clematis
This clematis produces masses of beautiful, delicately ruffled, pale pink flowers with a wide, deep reddish-pink central stripe and prominent, light chocolate anthers. It blooms in early-spring and early summer and then again in late summer to early fall. Ideal for covering trellises, arbors, pergolas, and walls. Dr. Ruppel flowers on old wood of the previous season therefore it should only be pruned where necessary immediately after flowering or for die-back.
