Guardian Blue Larkspur
A star of early summer gardens, this delphinium forms sturdy flower spikes of densely packed, double, rich dark blue flowers with lilac purple overtones and white eyes. The spikes rise from a mound of divided, rich green foliage the has a neat compact habit. Removing spent flower spikes will promote another round of blooms in late summer or fall. A member of the Guardian Series, it is known for blooming earlier than other varieties and with extreme uniformity. Blooming for weeks, it adds height and majesty to garden beds, borders, and cottage gardens. Also makes excellent cut flowers.
