Trumpet Vine
Better known as trumpet vine, this variety is a woody, clinging plant that attaches by aerial roots and produces trumpet-shaped, orange-red to red flowers in loose, somewhat drooping clusters throughout the summer. Long, bean-like seed pods follow the flowers. The flowers are a favorite of nectar loving birds. It provides quick cover for fences, arbors, and trellises.
