A very compact, small variety with striking coppery-red foliage that turns a bold scarlet red in fall. Spring-time welcomes tiny yellow flowers on its spiny branches as well as bright red berries in the fall. Accent or hedging plant. Prune anytime. Tolerates moderate drought.
