A prolific bloomer and fast grower, ‘Purple Prince’ produces vibrant rose-red single flowers in mid spring. The foliage emerges purple-bronze in the spring, turns green throughout the growing season and then golden shades in the fall. Purple-blue fruits (1/2”) mature in the fall and persist into the winter. The fruits make good jelly and provide sustenance for wildlife.
