Chastity Pear
This new variety of Pear features the classic white blooms, orange-red fall color and dark green glossy leaves. Its broadly pyramidal shape is attractive and makes a nice street tree. It is very ornamental and highly infertile, bred to prevent weediness by Dr. Tom Ranney of North Carolina State University.
