Japanese Painted Fern
'Pictum' is one of the easiest, most rewarding, and most colorful Japanese Painted Ferns available. This variety grows in a low, mounding habit, and boasts absolutely stunning silvery-grey fronds with a hint of dusty purple that contrasts perfectly with its burgundy stems. Its shorter stature makes it excellent for use in the foreground of perennial beds, along borders, and in containers. 2004 Perennial Plant of the Year.
