Mary Rose English Rose
'Mary Rose' is one of the first roses to bloom in spring, then repeat blooms till late season frosts. The loose-petalled flowers are a rich rose pink color. The strong fragrance has an Old Rose character with a hint of honey and almond blossom. 'Mary Rose' is one of the most widely grown of all English Roses. It is a first-class garden shrub and also makes a fine hedge. (David Austin 1983, Ausmary).
